Ford flex feedback

Things are starting to go on the outlander and I'm slowly looking for a replacement. I liked the flex when they came out but never heard any long term feedback. Any owners here? Car is AWD with the 3.5 motor, 7 seater. All feedback is appreciated. Budget is under $15k and I like it to be spacious but no minivans.

My Dads 09 has 180k kms a couple wheel bearings and brakes. nothing else with his, but some had the main driveshaft hanger bearings go bad. Overall his has been a good reliable vehicle, but lacks in the power department. I don't like the driving position but it carries a ton of stuff.
 
Mon pere en a eu un quelques années, c'était un v6 ecoboost et ca se déplaçait pas mal
L'intérieur vieillissait mal mais côté mecanique rien a dire

Je sais pas pour tous les moteurs mais le ecoboost on parle de 13-15l/100km de moyenne
 
J'adore le style du Flex et meme si j'en ai pas besoin je suis quand meme curieux de savoir si c'est fiable
 
Je regardais les Flex mais j'ai fini avec un XC90. Je trouvais le marché usage cher pour les Flex... Can garde sa valeur plus que je pensais car pas mal recherché

Je regardait les xc90 mais j'en ai pas trouver qui m'intéressait dans mon budget.

J'ai acheté un 2008 3.2 avec 150k km pour $12.5k c'est à peu près le prix.
Les Flex étaient pas mal plus cher ou km

Je suis en vacances, j'irais faire un tour au dealers pour en essayer une. Ça m'intéresse ce modèle. Côté fiabilité et coût de réparation ça dit quoi? Je connais absolument rien des Volvos.

Mon père a eu un Flex durant quelques années; SE 2010 avec le 3.5 de base. Pas mal d'équipements pour le prix, super confo sur la route, conduite vraiment agréable vs un VUS ou une minivan traditionnelle. Il l'a changé avec 140 000km sans jamais avoir fait quoi que ce soit dessus et il me dit souvent que c'est la meilleure familiale qu'il a eu. J'en achèterais un sans hésiter.

Well a Volvo and ford aren't either you can buy a nice fx35 for 15k easily. You have power, luxury and reliability, not to mention he can do a muffler delete and his truck would sound fucking amazing.

Its nice but also smaller and it's on the high end of my budget for a clean one.

How many kids you plan on having :p I always had a think for a flex, just not the base model please.

Way too expensive, also I prefer something with a v6 no v8. Otherwise I would pass my budget and go for my original stupid idea of getting an srt8
