If you really want to make money in IT there are two things you need to know ...
1. You don't know anything at all. A job description is just that, most of them are not written by the person you are replacing. So every interview, do not act like you invented the web. Fixing new problems everyday can be exhausting and boring for some. Others love this, get into Technical support.
2. There are people that are born problem solvers and there are others that are just born. Figure out who you are before applying or course searching. Consulting is not really problem solving, more like redesigning someones Playdoe. If you like prooving to yourself your the best ... it is the choice for you.
Whatever you know, someone else has already thought of it and sold the idea, 99% of the time this is the truth
