Power /torque needed to pop a wheelie in an Escalade.. Probably wrong title to use...

I am posting this because someone on an escort site ( MERC ESCORTS ) claims that he had a 2002 Escalade that weighed 7,800 lbs with 800 HP at a cost of 50K in extras that can pop wheelies with street tires. I know that this feat is impossible with this vehicle. The person is a computer warrior with zero racing knowledge and googles info.

I was just going to cut and paste a few replies to keep myself amused, his best argument was "I have seen it ", also claims he built the car for a 25 yr old model.

Ca dépend pas de la puissance mais de la suspension...

Suspension de arriere extra molle pour un bon transfert de poids
Shock avant fini pour avoir du rebond.

Donne un coup de gaz pour transferer le poids a l'arriere et quand ca retombe tu en criss un autre. Avec la swing des springs en avant (shock fini) le devant risque de lever. Je dis pas que ca se fait les yeux fermé dans un Escalade mais pas besoin d'un moteur de 2000hp a l'ethanol avec des slicks de 12 pouces pour faire ca.

whao throw back ...had a few of those in the late 90's well more my mom did & i bought a used one for the wife at the time..there were even a few turbo'd ones around, they had mazda engine-tranny's...don't see those anymore..

Stopped read there. There's no way some normal street tire have enough grip to pop wheelies on an escalade. This will never happen even if it had 2000hp.
