Your car/truck as it sits now thread.

needs some lowering springs and spacers ;)

I ordered a Bilstein B12 kit & spacers from ECS on Jan 8th, ETA is now March 2nd now. They pushed the date twice already.
I don't even know how much lower it will be since I am starting from a R-line. Eibach claims 1.4in, I suspect the R is about 1in lower than regular. I wanted to go 1.5in lower than actual (so approx 2.5in total I guess), the only option I saw was K3 coilover for +3.5k USD. This could make sense on a touring car, not on a +5000lbs SUV!

It won't be that much lower unfortunately...

And you didn't message me. Send me a p.m on what you paid for those b12's maybe you have time to cancel, and I can help you out.

My co worker has H&R springs and B6 on his 13 Touareg. It looks fantastic.

I would be very interested in pictures, and get an idea of fender gap (center of the wheel to wheel arch, or just the gap between fender and tire + tire size)

I actually ordered B6 + H & R and found out the B12 kit is available and got it cancelled. B6 is stock height, B12 is B8 shocked matched with Eibach springs. Rod is a bit shorter, valving is slightly different. Nothing wrong with B6, but the matched kit is design for that.

I cannot find any specs on OEM or R spring rate, we have a spring testing machine at work I'll test them myself.
