So as the title states i lent my car to a friend last night. As he was waiting at a light to turn left, someone from behind didn't see him and hit him. The mistake was fully on the other driver. Now i want to know, my friend has his own insurance on his other car...but on whose insurance does this fall? Am i supposed to call my insurance? Or is he supposed to call his insurance as before lending him my car he made sure with his insurance that he's covered using other peoples car.

Thanks

If this was in the prov of qc: your insurance will be primary
The faq 27 that covers him on other vehicule covers the damage for wich he his liable, in this case since the other driver is at fault your insurance becomes primary because of dcpd in qc. So you have to claim to your insurance and state he was the driver.
