So in case some of you arent aware, we have a thread about mining crypto currencies. However seeing someone brought up the topic of trading crypto currencies I figured id make a dedicated thread!

What is a cryptocurrency you may ask?

Its a form of unregulated currency designed to work as a medium of exchange using cryptography to secure the transactions and to control the creation of additional units of the currency. Cryptocurrencies comes in many forms such as Bitcoin(XBT), Ethereum (ETH) and Litecoin (LTC)

I never heard about Bittrex till you guys mentioned it in the thread. I've dabbled in mining but trading somehow never crossed my mind until you guys mentioned it. How would one get started?

Obviously you need $ but how do you purchase cryptocurrrencies and shuffle between currencies? The app does everything? Also whats the fee per transaction?
 
You use Quadrigacx or similair website to buy some BTC/ETH. Then you transfert your BTC/ETH to an exchange like Bittrex to trade other crypto. You can't buy most of the crypto with fiat money, only few like BTC and ETH are sold for $$.
 
You can also use Coinbase to buy BTC/ETH/LTC, but the fee is higher, I think it's around 4%.
I personally use QuadrigaCX, as the fee is lower.

On the other end, Quadriga, unless you wait for the market to be at the price you wanna pay will be higher and the fees, Interac is 1.5% but with a minimum of 100$. Someone who wanna try 100$ is better off with Coinbase.
 
Défois je me dit pourquoi je me casse la tête a trader... oui c'est plus payant mais full risque.

BTC depuis août a fait genre 47% lol
 
Mettons j'ai 100$ qui me brûle les poches et que je veux l'utiliser pour comprendre comment trader ça.
C'est quoi les étapes en partant de mon argent cash à je cashout en argent ce qu'il en reste quelques semaines plus tard?
C'est tu facile d'acheter/vendre un cryptocurrency plusieurs fois par semaine? par jour?
Les meilleures plateformes?

3- Transfert de fonds:

Sur la plateforme de trading, allez dans vos "wallets" - Funding - ETH - Vous allez avoir une adresse Ethereum qui ressemble à la mienne : 0x281055afc982d96fab65b3a49cac8b878184cb16

Où vous avez acheté vos coins dans votre wallet ETH, vous faites "Withdraw" et entrez votre adresse ETH (copy/pasta) et trompez vous pas (pas réversible)

Vous pouvez suivre votre transaction sur https://etherscan.io En haut à droite, paste votre adresse ETH

4- U trade...

- Ça ressemble à bourse, les plateformes out toutes des +/- au niveau des types d'ordres que tu peux passer
- Oui, tu peux spinner 100x le même crypto dans une journée si le coeur t'en dit, les frais sont en % dépendant de ton volume, souvent autour 0.1% à 0.25%



5- Cash out, scénario inverse.

QUADRIGA - L'ai ben beau sur papier, mais ya plein d'histoire d'horreur comme quoi c'est long (wire) et sinon ceux qui ont le plus de succès, c'est Interac ou cash (5k/transaction, 2% de cut + 20$) livré chez vous

Sujet interessant, moi aussi je veux me lancer la dedans pour le fun. J'ai 214300 ETN aussi...si je fais un bon profit sur 6 mois je vais reinvestir un peu.
 
Je pense partir un autre thread sur "Crypto Stacking" ... Plus sur le long terme, connaitre vos suggestions de stratégies.

Which is better for the long run? Bittrex I just get to know by reading this today. I verified tier 3 with Kraken but deposit via banking is a PITA and heard some horrible withdraw stories.

I heard coinsquare.io is best for Canadian, is it true

Where have you been bro? Will come post again? :)

So far, Quadriga has been good... Coinbase you pay a bit more depending on how much you flip.

As for Coinsquare, I use it as well and thei support is much better than Quadriga, but their interface is sometimes messed up and I hate the fact that you don't see the volume and live trades.

Doing some coins research and MR comes right to my mind....I still trust the geeks :))
