I got starpoint gemini 2 and had a blast playing it. My only regret was that it was single player and you cant join factions or squads...

If you like flying in space (especially with complicated HOTAS rigs) and you're a fan of the original 1984 Elite, this is an insta-buy. If you've never played an Elite game but you love the genre—like, if your game shelf has a bunch of Wing Commander and Freespace and Lucasarts' X-Wing and TIE Fighter boxes on it—then you should definitely give this game a shot. If you're in the market for a game that's mostly EVE but from a cockpit perspective,wait for EVE: Valkyrie instead.

Je suis un grand fan de Freespace donc that's it sold! Je vais probablement essayer sa ce soir, verra si je joue avec mon HOTAS (malgré qu'il est pas super avancé) ou ma manette de X360 ou un mix avec keyboard.
 
Ah shit. I dont have a HOTAS. Is it playable with a mouse and keyboard? (obviously it is but will I still be effective/competitive)?

From what I've seen, most people play with mouse and keyboard or a gamepad (Xbox) and a selected few with moneys with HOTAS.

The installation is somewhat of a pain (for me atleast) when buying from Oculus. Have to download Oculus app, had a "can't connect error" which needed a few things to fix it (.netFramework 4.7 and D3DCompiler_47.dll). Have to install Elite Dangerous from the Oculus app, go in Library, click triple dots and select Start in Desktop mode. Then create account at Frontier and from there it is possible to get a key for Steam.

Now downloading on Steam, hopefull I'll get a climpse later tonight haha.
 
jai mis au moins 100 hrs dans ce jeux avec l'oculus rift et un HOTAS. Je retourne y jouer quand j'ai besoin de mon fix. Je jouerais pas avec une manette c'est claire.

C'est un jeux de longue haleine, oubliez le singleplayer, c'est vraiment un free roam dans un univers sans fin et sa ne plait pas a tous. Dans le +/- 100 heures que j'ai joué, j'ai pas vraiment l'impression d'avoir avancé dans le jeux autrement qu'en me procurant des plus gros ship et explorant des systeme solaire. Le jeux ne te prend pas par la main, tu te débrouille.
 
Je jouais pas mal souvent pendant un bout, j'ai un Anaconda worth environ 400mil

Et c'est tres fesable avec M+KB

 
Je joue présentement sur xboxone, je dois avoir pas loin de 1000 heures de jeu. À 28$ je l'acheterai mais comme d'autre on dit ke jeu ne tient pas par la main, tu dois te trouver une vocation.

Quelle modèle de hotas vous utiliser? Je ne sais pas lequel choisir et je suis sur que le jeux est bcp mieux qu'avec une manette de xbox

en train de faire les jumps jusqu'à colonia à coup de 10-11 années lumières....c'était pas l'idée du siècle ça

Va être très payant, mais les 6 prochain jours vont être occupé

J'espere que c'payant ton affaire... pcq moi je fait des passenger missions dans la bubble et je ramene 160-180mil par 1hr.
