I believe it. The 3 series is the new Camry. All the 320 drivers know what an M3-M4 is. That's like 10% of the population of the province.

Hey bud,

Long time! Well the 997.1 I had was a nightmare, the engine failed and it cost me about 11k to put it back together, the 997.2 was a wonderful winter machine, I cannot praise it more, but the lack lustre performance and the sound was not for me. I miss it sometimes though, sat well on the highway at high speeds.

Thé 991.1 is plagued with issues, but a beautiful machine none the less and the 991.2 I have never tried.

There is no comparison with these M cars though in price retention and logo recognition.

I wouldn’t get the m3 or m2 as a winter car.

passathub you are probably a more courageous overall driver, but I drive quite long distances and I also have a c250 4matic sitting in my driveway that I just got. I’d rather use it in heavy storms and use the M4 when there is slow less and sleet. Although, to each his own. I thought you had the Vette, haven’t been on here in too long.

Quelque chose que je comprend pas..pourquoi bmw a nommé la serie3 M 2 portes m4 pis la 4 portes m3?

Sauf que tu peux avoir les séries 4 et 6 en version “Gran Coupé” à 4 portes... Et il y a aussi les X4 et X6 qui ont 4 portes, mais qui sont des utilitaires sport “coupé”. Mais il y a aussi maintenant le X2, qui est un utilitaire 4 portes sans avoir le style d’un “coupé” contrairement au X4 et au X6. C’est vraiment rendu n’importe quoi la nomenclature des modèles chez BMW...
