USS Little Rock stuck in Montreal.

It's a brand new ship as well, right out of the builder and trials on the Great Lakes. But she'll be able to get out in a short while so it's not really that bad for the crew.

Fun fact: That class of ship has a semi-displacement hull, so they can reach speeds over 45kt with almost 100 000hp. Probably burns about 22500 l/hour or 0.009 mpg

Holy shit 100,000 HP wtf sort of engine does it have? It doesn't seem to be that large.

Ce navire est plus gros en personne. Je l'ai spotté lundi en passant sur Notre-Dame. C'est assez impressionnant.

propulsion: 2 Rolls-Royce MT30 36 MW gas turbines, 2 Colt-Pielstick diesel engines, 4 Rolls-Royce waterjets
Speed: 47 knots (87 km/h; 54 mph) (sea state 3)[7]
Range: 3,500 nmi (6,500 km; 4,000 mi) at 18 knots (33 km/h; 21 mph)[8]

36 MW = 48276.8HP

The Rolls-Royce MT30 (Marine Turbine) is a marine gas turbine engine based on Rolls-Royce Trent 800 aero engine. The MT30 retains 80% commonality with the Trent 800, the engine for the Boeing 777. The maximum power rating is 40 MW and minimum efficient power 25MW.[1]

In before que les USA trouve un moyen de nous mettre ça sur le dos.

" Look how Canada do nothing for us, Let's freeze our new ship in there. Cost money to USA. Whats now with nafta? #usa #canadafuckedwithnafta #wearebetter "

they should gtfo immediatly...... because Valerie Plante will put a tax on the fact that they are stock in Montreal

Ah I was wondering what that ship was doing here when I drove by on Pierre-Dupuy the other day. Went for a few midnight slow laps around Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve and saw it lol
