In your shoes, I'd go to the auto show and sit in multiple vehicles, check cargo capacity, etc. After making your selection, go for a low mileage lease no longer than the bumper to bumper warranty, ideally with maintenance included so long term reliabilty is less of a concern. If ever it doesn't fit your future family's needs, unload it via leasebusters.
As an aside, when my dad first came to Canada, our family had 4 members. Believe it or not, we got by with a Ford Escort wagon. I understand that many baby accessories have since grown such as strollers but it's still disappointing to read how current parents are giving up cars for trucks/SUVs because they feel they "need" the extra space vs. a wagon, for example.

It's sensible to get a spec'ed out non-luxury brand SUV.
This is a family car not a "we be out here ballin" car. You're going to be driving around with at least 1 (maybe 2) stroller/booster seats etc. Ain't no level of luxury going to make you forget about the cheerios on the floor and between the seats.
Wait till they're old enough to not need booster seats and get an RS4 or wtv badass wagon will be around.

Update.
I'll be going to the car show over the weekend and try / feel different model.
There's a few posts in here that struck my cheap and sensible chords, so perhaps a fully-loaded Highlander, Pilot or Grand Cherokee (not the trackhawk tho) may make most sense at this point, to handle a first kid and for the next 4-5 years after.
I'll update the thread once my thinking evolves and I'm closer to pulling the trigger (summer 2018 time frame).
To answer EuroEthusiast. I'm the biggest sucker for wagons... I love the damn things especially the e-wagon amg, and it's little brother c-wagon which is/will be available here! But I do feel like handling a future kid with an SUV is easier because of the height of the vehicle.

Je viens de tester un Armada et je l'aime bien. L'intérieur est quand-meme bon je trouve. Pourtant c'est le Pathfinder qui a l'aire d'une Maxima 1990.
Je suis probablement le seul ici qui pense ça, mais je trouve l’interieur Armada bien correct. Il est conventionnel avec un touche conservatrice, mais ça reflète bien la clientèle type. Celui qui va s’acheter ça ne sera pas intéresser une allemande d’après moi.
On dirait que ça fait moins peur côté fiabilité de voir ce type d’interieur, qu’une beauté comme l’interieur d’une GLC au Q7

Fuck what people think and get what's easier to use and maintain on a daily basis. Use the extra money to treat yourself to a second car that you can enjoy by yourself.
The Atlas is worth a look too. The thing is a damn school bus, but maybe a bit overkill for one kid.
Personally with one kid, we have a RAV4 hybrid for family use, and it's perfect. You can also consider leasing a smaller CUV for 36 months and see what your needs are in a few years. Seriously don't make the mistake lots of people do and buy a massive car for your first baby... It's cheaper to buy a quality foldable baby carriage that doesn't take up the entire trunk. Also we pretty much never use the baby carriage, we always carry her around with a wrap and put her stuff in a school bag, but we're in pretty great shape so that might not be an option for most. With our current setup, I could probably daily a 911 with an infant if only we could fit a baby seat in the back
edit: come to think of it, when I was born, my dad had an 84 GTI. Family of four in a tiny little sport hatch. Then again, at the time nobody used baby seats. But he still kept the damn thing as the only family car up until I was 4 and my sister was 9. LOL. He really liked driving that car.

J’ai deux enfants et un CUV, et on commence à être limite en espace lorsqu’on voyage ou va voir de la visite.

Tout à fait. Mais OP a dit que ça blonde/femme est même pas encore enceinte.
Si tout va bien, le premier sera née dans un an, genre meilleure scénario possible. Et le deuxième dans 2 ans, si ça leur tente d'avoir un 2e tout suite, et si ils tombent enceinte tout suite aussi.
Dans le meilleur des cas, leur location 36 mois tire vers la fin quand ils auront le deuxième. Si OP sent le besoin de magasiner un autobus rendu la il pourra bien le faire.

Le XC90 se frotte au Q7 pas Q5
Sur les forums pas mal tout le monde choisi entre les deux, y'en qui passent de un vers l'autre aussi (dans les deux sens). Souvent le Q7 est un peu trop cher mais il parait que le chassis dynamique est très nice
