With 300,000km for 4k$. Its a company car. Well maintained. Good deal or stay away?

I need a cheap and economical car for my wife. She just started driving.

If no rust, why not. But if you want cheap maintenance and newbie friendly, get a yaris.

4000$ pour un char de 300k jamais de la vie. Ben beau que ça soit fiable et du Toyota mais les grosses entretien s'en viennent bientôt et aussi la rouille commence déjà à sortir.

Don't.

A friend has a 2008 and he has a check engine that turns on/off depending of outside temp.

It's something related to the secondary thermostat. It's a known problem for that gen of Prius.

Sooo can he drive the car? I mean does it start and drives and all that?

I've been having a check engine on my civic for the past decade (yes 10 years). Something about the o2 sensor.

Les prius sont souvent utilisés par les taxis et beaucoup atteignent 500k sans probleme.
 
Une prius avec batterie ça va nulle part contrairement aux vieilles honda hybride où on peut neutraliser le système, donc non pour ça
 
I dont follow the market for the prius but that seems expensive. I would negociate. See what 4k gets you for a corolla or civic instead maybe.

Les batteries des honda hybrides ont ete un fail majeure. Cest pour ca que Honda a arrete den faire.

Je suis d'accord que c'est fiable.. Mais maudit que c'est laite a chier et ça pas de coeur pour une cenne.
