People still won't address the main issue, why are so many shootings occuring in the USA? So take out the assault riffles, next time, the white autist ( cause they all seem to be white autists) will kill 6 with a sawed-off shotgun instead of 17. That's a Pyrrhic victory if I ever seen one.
Again, the NRA was thrivin in the 60's, 70's and 80's, there were no school shootings the way they're popping off nowadays, what the hell happened since then?
Any proposition to remove semi-autos/shotties will be completely ignored by pro-gunners as it defeats pretty much all their arguments and they have to go back to their last resort shitty argument lol : Yeah but doing this wouldn’t fix the real problem, guns don’t kill people, people do! It would stop most shootings everywhere in the country yeah, but what about all those minds that won’t be fixed!
Everyone would have their pistol for protecting their family from bad guys trying to murder them while stealing their TV, everyone would have their rifle for hunting, their shitty amendment would still be respected because no where does it states you should be allowed to have semi-autos and shotties lol so yeah, they will most likely try to convince you that people should still be able to have semi-autos and shotties, and instead we should do background checks and mental checks, as if these will prevent a normal gun owner to fry a fuse once in a while because as Jim Jefferies said «*Sometimes, you know, people get sad...*»
A student in the ROTC program at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, claims that CNN's town hall event on the school shooting was scripted and that they censored him from asking questions that he had and, instead, insisted that he ask the questions that they gave him.
Bro, we already said, and you can't debate this, you can't take away people's guns.
It will be a shit show and most likely a small civil war.
So find another solution.
That's how Town Hall work, there's no way in hell they're going to let people go off on whatever, this is live-tv.
Oh come on, Australia did and yes I know they were at 30 weapons per 100 people but who gives a fuck, they paid back people for every single weapon how is this impossible? It's a shitload of money for the gouvernment to ditch out but if they can put 600 billion dollars into the military budget they can surely afford it.
Now let's say we put aside the "how to", if let's say, it was doable, are you saying you would agree that the result would be a good solution?

Oh come on, Australia did it no fucks given (yes I know they were at 30 weapons per 100 people, they have a different "culture" but who gives a fuck), they paid back people for every single weapon how is this impossible? What if we say the same as you?
we have to take away people's gun
Find an other solution to having guns...
Civil war LOL if its needed it will be just a cleaning of douche/stupid cowboy/redneck
an American nightmare? Would be a nice cleaning... except Trudeau would open borders to all those stupid american...
Australia doesn't nearly have the same attitude towards gun as america does.
I would even say that taking away all the guns vs. a reward would work here in Canada.
Like I said, forget the complexity or achieving this and pretend it could be done.
Would you agree that the result would be a good solution?
There's an inherent fallacy to comparing different countries in such a manner. When people say oh we should be more like Japan, well you need Japanese people to be like Japan. You can't just copy their behavior and expect the same outcome. So yeah it worked in australia, but australians are different than americans.
