2018 Ruf SCR

I know Signer needs a donor car for their projects, since they build on it. How does RUF go about about their models like this one? The entire body is carbon fiber and the drivetrain is a 4.0L probably mated to a current gearbox. Do they even need any old parts? I don't think they use a donor car, which is actually pretty cool if it's the case.

AFAIK they can issue genuine Porsche VIN numbers... Which is very unique.

Boxcarracer know everything about RUF and will likely chime in.

Ruf is a car manufacturer, not just a tuner. So their cars get a Ruf VIN, and won't be plated as a '1991 Porsche 911' with x stories or whatever.
Ruf has history, they brought about many improvements in their day which were then implemented on production Porsches.
I love what Singer does to their cars, but they will never have Ruf's pedigree (don't think that's what they're after anyway).

The SCR is NA, the CTR is twin turbo.

Do they use existing bodies (or parts of bodies) for their older 911-based cars?
