Sinon je vais changer mon tune et mettre pour du 94 et gazzer du super 91 chez Shell.

The owner of Petro had issues with me going to the dealer, I'm thinking, if I go to the dealer for my car repaire, why wouldn't I go to the dealer for your bill!?
Greed, people don't care..what a horrible experience, make the customer happy, assure him it's fine rather scare him you ain't going to pay! Don't think he was thinking straight...dealer gave me a car to drive too on the house..small garage not always ready to take your car in for repaire. Add car rental too..he better off with me at the dealer.
After the 2nd time we talk, he had confirmed it was a legit problem at his station, he was way more polite and relaxed that I was not trying to scam him. Been going to his gas station for like 15 years too. Regular customer there! I'll go back if he man up to the bill! If he don't, I'll bring him to court for it and only deal with head office from there.
Kinda sucks cause from here on I'm going to be sketchy pumping gas lol might have to taste the gas first lmao

My GT-R requires 93 AKI or 98 RON gasoline. Petro 94 is rated at 101.5 RON or 94 AKI.

Absolument aucun problème, même l'été quand il a fait des grosses chaleurs, jamais eu de détonation.
C'est un 2.0L haute compression qui sort 220whp atomosphérique, alors j'aurais rapidement vu de la détonation avec du fuel de moins bonne qualité.
Shell est le seul qui offre aucun éthanol dans son essence super, je ne jure que par eux.

its not a big deal if the bill is paid for you, the stress of trying to prove it was the gas stations fault is what got me..and it being the wrong day for shit to happen. But I got my kids to the bell center and it all worked out! saved him from refunding me the tickets too.

faut pas capoter, c'est quoi ? 5-10% max.
l'énergie calorifique est juste un peu plus faible, mais reste qu'une tune sans knock sensor, va quand meme éviter le knock avec le 94 pétro.
Pis anyway, qui est tuné ici sans knock sensor ou un dispositif pour éviter la détonation? Ya pas grand monde. Du fait que le reportage que j'ai posté , personne s'en est appercu avant un boutte.
le gaz de OP est juste pas bon, on ne parle meme pas de 87 ici, juste pas bon.
Le miens est tuné 93 octane, pis je met du 91 l'hiver. L'été je met 50% petro 94 et 50% 91 shell (sans éthanol). aucun fck.

You should totally import fuel from Japan, Germany and Italy..
BTW: Costco 91 doesn't have ethanol in it as well

C'est pas tant une question de pouvoir calorifique même si ça fait une minime différence sur la consommation d'essence mais surtout que l'ethanol est pas bon pour les systèmes d'injection. C'est corrosif et ça assèche tout ce qui est en rubber. Tant qu'à moi l'éthanol ça devrait pas se retrouver dans le gaz, mais merci aux lobbys américains de producteurs de maïs, c'est rendu une obligation ou presque d'en ajouter à l'essence...

No need to. Petro 94 is perfectly fine.
And 98 RON or higher is required in the HP. So again, Petro 94 is the only one meeting these requirements in Québec at least.

I think they should change everything cause contaminated gas equal..contaminated everything in my eyes, from injectors to you name it. Go the distance to make it right like Holmes.

He is paying for the repairs for liability. Big gas stations under a banner have more to be careful about.
If he troubles you at all call petro canada and watch how fast that bill will be paid.
Also yes ethanol is supposed to be 5 to 10% but a friend of mine recently had some 87 octane analysed and it came back as 73% ethanol.

Les études la dessus c'est bien bon pour les char européen qui on 450 000km et +.
Ici on est au quebec, 200 000 km pis on capote. Je doute des effets.
J'ai probablement un des moteurs ''récents'' les moins fiables, boosté , pis à date aucun asèchement pis ya du mileage, faudrait pousser l'étude statistique plus loin pour démontrer ce fait.
Je m'obstine pas, mais reste que ça reste à prouver fortement, sur des utilisateurs ''normaux'' du quebec.

No this was gas from a regular pump. The car came in to him with the complaint that the Car ran like shit.
I really wonder why Canadian vs American gas I always get more mileage from American 91 octane. I usually chalk it up to doing more highway miles but still threads like this make me wonder.
