J'écoute Roadkill, Hot Rod Garage, Dirt Every Day et quelques Engine Master, mais j'avais pas réalisé qu'il y avait autant de stock sur Motor Trend On Demand. Quand même nice, me suis pas enregistrer parce que sa me tentais pas de pogner encore un autre suscription mais c'est tentant là.
 
David a publié ca sur son facebook aujourd'hui. C'est terminé mtod et remplacé par mt, terminé les vidéos gratuit sur youtube et ils ont désactivé les commentaires. Ca me frustre pas mal la direction de l'équipe a pris à cause de discovery il sont perdu leur soul pour du cash. Elana aussi qui est partit..

Ça fait des années que Dave et Fin nous disent "on sera jamais sold out à la bull shit tv, les deadlines et le scriptage (tout le drama et le shit talk qui a découlé avec le concours avec ass monky garage et general mayhem). Ca commencé ya quelque années quand ils ne pouvaient plus boire de bière à la caméra lol

En partant de youtube ils oublient qui est-ce qui les a mené la ou ils sont maintenant, c'est comme une gifle au visage. Ils vont réduire de beaucoup leur audience et la quantité de jeunes qui sont devenu hot rodder à cause de leur vidéos sur youtube

Depuis qu'ils ont vendu a discovery ils ont rempli mtod de show poubelles et diluer notre contenu, c'était comme la place ou on pouvait se retrouver entre connaisseur et éviter toute la bullshit

Today this video was posted to announce the company’s new plan for the airing of Roadkill, Hot Rod Garage, Dirt Every Day, Engine Masters, Ignition, and Head2Head. Here’s the short version: new episodes of those shows will no longer be posted to YouTube, but they will be available free on MotorTrend.com. Right now you can see free new episodes of every series listed above.Here are details as I understand them for now:
- MotorTrendOnDemand.com will become simply MotorTrend.com
- If you have a current subscription to Motor Trend OnDemand, it is still valid.
- All our shows will be available first to subscribers to MotorTrend.com, and will appear without ads.
- The free-to-view shows appear 8 weeks later and will have advertising in them.
- To see the free shows, go to MotorTrend.com, navigate to the series you want (like Roadkill), and look at the thumbnail photos. If there is no icon of a padlock in the upper left corner, you can watch for free. To see episodes with a padlock, you must subscribe.
- For a short time (could be just a few days) the company is offering MotorTrend.com subscriptions for $2.99/month instead of the normal $4.99 in order to encourage YouTube viewers to sign up.
- All the shows that used to be on YouTube are currently scheduled to continue on MotorTrend.com with the same number of episodes as before.
- In addition to the former YouTube shows, MT will continue to show our exclusive shows: Roadkill Garage, Junkyard Gold, Put Up Or Shut Up.
- All of our old episodes will continue to be on YouTube.
- The company has turned off commenting on all videos on YouTube as people react to this news. Comments might be turned back on in the future.
- Comments are now fully functional for subscribers on MotorTrend.com.
- There will be posts and comments from company agents other than me on the Roadkill social pages as they advertise this change and address questions.
- Older episodes of Roadkill will continue to appear on the Velocity cable network.
- Discovery and Velocity content will continue to appear on MotorTrend.com. There will be premieres before cable, and many past seasons can be viewed for free.
- The Motor Trend YouTube channel will continue to get new videos. They will be teasers for new episodes, cutdowns of episodes, and short-form content from all the TEN brands.
As you react to this news, please separate your feelings about company decisions from your comments about us hosts. Personally, I’m sad that Roadkill will no longer be available to those of you who can not afford a subscription—especially the kids who we’ve inspired to become car people. However, we hosts and producers still love what we do and we are lucky to do it and we want to continue making great shows. The best message you can send is to keep the original Motor Trend shows on top by continuing to watch on MotorTrend.com, even if you do it for free.

Wow sa c'est hyper décevant. Je pouvais dealer avec une attente d'un mois pour voir le dernier épisode sur YouTube, mais là attendre 2 mois? C'est clair que les revenus publicitaires sur YouTube ne sont pas ou ne sont plus au rendez-vous.
 
Ce post de mightycarmods mériterais son propre thread.. Ça vaut le tldr

Ils ont donnés leur opinion à propos de roadkill, myghtycarmod, youtube et les autres car show, on peu penser à the smokingtire aussi qui quitte.... À propos de discovery, du mode de financement, de production, réalisation, sponsorship etc.

Sérieusement chapeau à mighycarmods à propos de leurs façon de réalisé le show et à partir de ou ils ont commencé, de 2 simple gars dans leur driveway à peinturer des pièces à cacan, à modifier des voitures et réaliser des épisodes à partir de leurs économies.

As most of you have heard, Roadkill and the rest of the original programming that you're accustomed to watching on The Motor Trend Channel on YouTube is now being uploaded exclusively to MOTORTREND.COM

I understand how you feel about this change. It's yet another portal or app to download. It works differently than YouTube, it feels different than YouTube and there are places in world that you cannot see it. The company that owns shows such as Roadkill wants to earn revenue from creating the content. The company also shut off the commenting feature on the old YouTube channel so you can't easily vent your frustrations and comment about the change. There are many reasons for you to feel frustrated and abandoned.

I get it. There are a few rays of sunshine, though. One of them is that you can still watch Roadkill and shows like it for free after they debut on Motortrend.com. Also, the existing content is still on YouTube and I'm told it will remain there. That's 7 years worth of these shows that you can rerun anytime you wish. Plus there are hundreds of episodes of car-related programming on the site that you may enjoy.

Yes there will be ads on the new platform but if you can't stand the ads then there is always the option to buy the content without the ads for $2.99 per month.
Is this ideal? Not exactly. Is it the end of the world? I hope not. I still get a genuine kick out of creating insane machines to drive places I shouldn't. I still love running into Roadkill fans every day and finding out about your favorite cars and episodes. I'd like to keep on doing the job that doesn't feel like a job for a long time. The fact is that this move by the company is what will keep Roadkill alive for years to come. If you like the show and the others on the channel then please support it.
By all means, feel free to voice your opinion here. I will always listen and try to respond as often as I can. For those of you that have been wondering, yes this is my personal account and I'm the only one who posts here.

Je ne suis plus capable de me connecter sur l'app depuis hier. Tout ce qui appatait c'est 'try for 14 days' ou 'subscribe'.

Déjà j'avais ralenti beaucoup mes visites sur leur site , I guess c'est la fin maintenant...
 
Mon app fonctionne bien sur iphone et ipad (nouvel app depuis quelque jours) et fonctionne bien sur window 10, j'écoute justement Drift This
