Anyone here has a work and personal phone Still in 2018?

been using a work phone for the past 8-9 years , never wanted to get two phones , since i was always able to get the phone i wanted , Samsung, Htc, Sony ...
but now
im with a old 6S from work, and im pretty rough with it , im scared of messing it up . it shows signs of fragility,
Also, i guess its still a thing , but slightly more privacy with your own phone

i see some decent deals around and debating if i get one . whos in this boat ?

Me and I have a cellphone for sale if you want. It's the pixel xl 2 in pristine condition. 64gb we can discuss the price in p.m if interested.

I do 2 phones. My work phones a blackberry classic and i shattered the screen the other day. I was so scared my IT department would tell me that i would have to upgrade phones i went to a store and paid out of my own pocket to fix it lol

Best damn work device ive ever had.

I still have my old nexus 5 as a personal phone, I'll probably need to upgrade it soon but i dont feel like paying a g for a new device to essentially just browse the internet.

Good, Blackberry Work, IBM, etc.

esti j'adore mon blackberry lol

2 devices, I still want to own my personal number if I leave the company and it's against company policy to cross any borders with any work devices without prior approval not worth the hassle to save a few hundred dollars a year.

I worked in telecom for 4 years. Had a new phone every 3 months. Had at least 5 blackberries. It was disappointing when I had to leave because the OS was just obsolete compared to android. As soon as I saw plans for the KEYone, I bought it on release day. Finally an awesome blackberry after nearly a decade without the constraint of the BB OS.

Had the S4 for 4 years, and still couldn't type shit without making typos even when I was staring at the screen. Got on the keyone. I type emails blindfolded again and significantly quicker. People just don't get it... a physical keyboard >>>> screen keyboard.

1 phone crew checking in. no phone bill is the best damn thing ever. i let my employer buy my number that i had for 10 + years, i dont really see the use of 2 phones tbh, can you folks tell me why that is necessary? i mostly use it for calls and email. no CIA spying here. my employer can monitor my shit all they want, all they gonna see is a bunch of memes and pron.

Some employers have more disclosure / accountability concerns than others.
