Who's been to Decathlon Brossard?

So the french sport store Decathlon opened a store at Champlain Mall in Brossard. I went this am after doing some research on whats good (also had a 15% coupon), the general consensus is that anything in 900 series range of items is good value for the money. I went to look at cycling kit and I must say even the mid range stuff seems to be well made but the lower end stuff feels cheap/junk IMO most of the items in the store seemed to be cheap/ questionable but if you do your research beforehand you can find good stuff no doubt.

I ended up buying a new pair of cycling shoes and some other small items.


Cool store and nice to have one here.

I'm looking for a cheap squash racket. Do you think their sr960 racket ($75) will be better than a $50-80 Wilson racket at Canadian tire or sport experts?

Wilson/head is $50 or 150+ at stores, not many prices in the middle.
 
J'y ait été cet après midi. Honnêtement, pour le prix, c'est très dur à battre. La qualité semble au rendez vous.

J'ai ramassé avec ma blonde quelque morceaux et quand j'ai vu le fil d'attente d'environ 45 minutes, j'ai tout calisser la.

Mais je vais y retourner.

Ahahah j'aurais fait exactement la même chose. 12 minutes est pas mal le max que je peux attendre debout à rien faire quand c'est pas important.

From what I've read all the higher number series items are good quality. My cycling shoes are Made in Italy for example. Only thing I noticed is that items are more expensive here vs Europe but i guess thats expected

The line went pretty quick. First I was like yea fuck this but I saw it was moving at a decent pace
 
Is the product selection like what they have on their french website? (because their canadian website is balls)

Kinda want to get an idea of what they carry before I bring my ass all the way there.

Did they used the rfid tags at the cash or they scanned the stuff?

I'll go check for the racquet. My partner and I trashed $400 worth of carbon fiber lately. Being gentle isn't fun.

RFID bin. Tap pay with my phone. 5 seconds at the cash. How it should be

I wish grocery stores here started doing this.

Pareil! Le pire c'était avant l'ouverture. Ça demandait à chaque début de conversation si on allait au décathlon, come on, vous êtes fraichiés mais lâchez nous avec votre décathlon! On a quand même Sail pis Sportium qui sont québécois hehe.

Notre café indie third wave anglosaxon est meilleur que le café français je trouve.

Et j'ai décidé d'aller à Décathlon aujourd'hui. Je prend la 45 express de Bonaventure et je suis rendu en face du parc Lafontaine... Leurs détours sont pas raisonnables calisse.

Edit: ils sont en rupture de stock sur le modèle que je veux et le sport expert du mail a fuckall. Fuck you rive sud, never again.

Et Panama station c'est bs en esti. Même pas d'abri chauffé, pas de machine à recharger sa carte, planté au milieu de nulle part. En plus il n'y a pas de palmiers, le nom est trompeur.

désolé je bump le thread. Finalement, ca vaut tu la peine ?

Demain m'a surement aller a lui de Québec, vite vite de même, j'ai vu des jersey de vélo route a 12$, short mtb a 50$, sinon ils ont une weighted vest qui semble avoir de l'allure!

Peut etre ramasser des dumbbells aussi si ca de l'allure.
