Hanging a punching bag

So I want to hang a 6ft muay thai punching bag in my garage

But my garage ceiling is pretty high. 12 feet.

What do I need to attach my bag so that it comes down at a normal height? I can't seem to find any good info on this.

Thanks!

x2 for hell of a swing

A serious punching bag is not 6ft and heavy. more like 5'6" and light. also, I don't recommend hanging. I did that once once, and she stopped moving and I thought it takes away the realism from an actual fighting scenario. just let her roam free, and she'll duck, punch back, all the things you want to train for.

6 ft is for muay thai. Low kicks are impossible on a 5'6". I finally got around to hanging it. Will post a picture tomorrow.
