Condition: Pretty good - some ugly cosmetic rust, solid body, freshly rebuilt motor. Overall 7.5/10
Raison de la vente: Need to downsize my "fleet" for moving-out reasons, not selling my other MR2.

Pour la vente est mon Toyota MR2 Supercharged 1989. La voiture est une voiture de sport à moteur central, propulser par un version supercharged de la 1.6L 4A-GE de Toyota, le même moteur trouvé dans les Corollas contemporaines (et quelques Geos). Il est évalué à 145 ch, avec une courbe de torque agréable, et capable de 8L / 100 km si tu est bon avec le pedale (10L avec boost, selon mon expérience). La voiture est blanche avec un intérieur bordeaux (donc vous sentirez le rôle quand Van Halen arrivera à la radio).
Le bon
- Révision du moteur l'automne dernier. Gaskets, Timing belt, Supercharger étant des bits notables.
- Suspension récente depuid 2 ans, avec des chocs KYB
- Le radiateur et le thermostat ont été changés peu de temps après la suspension.
- Planchers solides!!
- T-Tops!
Le moins-bon
- De la rouille (comme prévu sur une voiture de 29 ans, mais les planchers sont encore en bonne etat - c'est vraiement cosmetique)
- Le câble de frunk doit être remplacé (j'en ai un et j'essaierai de trouver le temps de le faire avant de le vendre).
La voiture viendra sur un ensemble d'Enkeis. Le prix est négociable, mais il y a un potentiel pour venir avec une deuxième enseble de roues et de bons goodies AW11. Compte tenu de sa bonne forme mécanique, il ferait un excellent projet de restauration (ou voiture de piste).

For sale is my 1989 Toyota MR2 Supercharged. The car is a mid-engined sports car, powered by a supercharged version of Toyota's 1.6L 4A-GE, the same engine found in contemporary Corollas (and a few Geos). It's rated at 145 hp, with a nice torque curve, and capable of 8L/100km when not boosting (10L under boost, in my experience). The car is white with a burgundy interior (so you'll really feel the part when some Van Halen comes on the radio).
The good
- Engine overhaul last fall. Gaskets, Timing Belt, Supercharger being notable bits.
- Recent suspension (2 years old, with KYB shocks)
- The radiator and thermostat were changed shortly after the suspension.
- Floors are solid!! Hard to find that on an AW11.
- T-Tops!
The not-so-good
- Has some rust that needs to be taken care of (as expected on a 29 year old car. Floors are still in good shape as mentioned - its just cosmetic stuff)
- Frunk cable needs replacing (I have one and will try to find time to do that before sale).
The car will come on a set of Enkeis (pictured), but the Driver Mod is not included
. The price is negotiable, but there is potential for it to come with a second set of wheels and some nice AW11 goodies (Blacktop 20V header, carbon fiber trunk, Plumely wing, spare GZE alternator etc). Given its good mechanical shape and solid structure, it would make an excellent restoration project (or track rat).
