Ça va me faire du bien

He has potential to make 25 goals. His AHL/KHL stats are not so bad.
He just had a hard time in the NHL. He's a small centerman but still heavier than our Petit Paul. I still dont get that trade though. Another useless smurf in the playoffs. Montreal is collecting 3rd and 4th line centermen. Thats what gets you to a 1st round in the playoffs perhaps.
Maybe they're looking further downstream. For example the Habs now have a few decent centers, KK is going to be top 2 lines for the foreseeable future, Domi, they have a Pohler (Poehloer?) whatever... coming up probably next year.
Chaput showed he could play 4th line marginally at best. IMHO Weal seemed to be at least a notch ahead of Chaput in that regard. Chaput never made 10 points in the NHL, Weal has a 20 point season (23) and despite being the same age as Chaput has played a few more games in the NHL and thereby has more experience.
Without being a blockbuster "Subban" trade I don't think the Chaput/Weal trade was a bad one for the Habs.
Who's in nets tonight? Personally I'd play Niemi tonight against his old team despite it being the "toughest" game and then have Carey play the Ducks tomorrow.

A court terme:
Poehling, Suzuki, Brook.
A moyen terme:
Romanov, Ikonen, Ylonen, Cayden Primeau
Ça fait longtemps qu'on avait pas autant de prospects prometteurs.
