The economic kabuki theatre on Wall street is a side show of the larger decline in policy making.* We can say that Asia rising is our undoing in the West, but the First World problems were born long before that.
I harped upon the analog era as the peak of industrial civilization as we know it, and it is! The digital version has failed to capture the imagination of today's "garagistas" (Ferrari's dismissal of Lotus et al back in the 50's or 60's). Drivers were willing to die at any time to get a ride, until they formed a union.
Do we owe the dead drivers and spectators anything? They prepared the ground for safe driving (defensive driving) courses and safer race tracks, cheaper high performance cars, aftermarket enhancements and safer cars.
I see more unaware drivers today than ever before. You can almost sense their distraction.
*Somebody was curing the fresh cement on an overpass over Hwy 15 last November when I totalled the TJ. They used a tarp that leaked water that froze overnight on the 15 below.
Lots of cars crashed that morning, two Samaritans pulled my passenger and me out. The workmen and the salting crews showed no remorse, neither did the police, i.e. they consider me a casino visitor, nothing more.
The social contract I grew up with did have a conscience, it had a common purpose. Not today; I see the me, me, me types not supporting either each other or, in the longer run, themselves, and they are totally unaware of the daily damage they inflict.
What keeps me going is that I can remedy some of the damage.

Look at mustang...V8 you get distinctive sound, good performance and parts are cheap and performance stuff is also cheap new or used.
Value wise, its hard to beat. Just find one clean and without rust and you will have fun.

J'avais loué un Jeep Wrangler à l'été 2016 je pense. Méchante vidange !! Tout le long en allant rejoindre mes chum a à la pêche dans le coin de La Tuque, je trouvais donc ben que ça roulait comme d'la marde ! Au milieu de ma route, j'avais arrêter pour enlever le toit. Mais ça restait d'la marde quand même à conduire. Ce n'est qu'un coup sur le chemin de gravel que j'ai commencé à moins l'haïr ! On sentait finalement moins la molesse du frame, de la suspension, de la direction, de tout !!
Mais une chose par contre, le système de son Alpine (probablement une option) , c'est dans le top 2 des kit de son les plus hot que j'avais jamais entendu, no joke !!

IMO miata, as recommended earlier, would be a great advertisement tool, would be fun to drive, could be modded HARD with all the parts you source and then take it to track events and just park it by the pit straight.

Je suis monté à Tremblant durant mes vacances, j'ai pogne star 92.9 100% jusqu'à Ste-Faget.
Par contre il y avait beaucoup de nuage.

L'autre jours je bouffais mon McDo assis dans mon pick-up, entre 2 visite de chantier. Soudain je vois une BMW décapotable passé, avec 2 gars assis dedans.... J'étais en train de me dire :'' Ish, 2 gars dans une décapotable, messemble que ça fait gu.... Hein !!! Michael !! ''
