simple question bolt pattern and wheel fitment

quick noob question that I can't find the right answer.

I have 5x114.3 rims from my old car.

My new car has 5x100 bolt pattern.

Will they fit ?

I think the opposite won't, but I'd like to know if it this way it can fit.

PS : they are steel rims, not mags or anything, so I don't think the offset matter.
 
Non ça fit pas. Tu aurais besoin d'adapteurs si tu voulais vraiment les faire fitter. Et le contraire be fitterais pas non plus

Va falloir tu chauffe le hub pour faire dillater le bolt pattern du char de 100mm a 114.3mm. Un coup assez chaud, y va rentrer.

The 100 and 114.3 are the distance in MM between your lugs. So no, it's impossible that they will fit without an adaptor. Bolt pattern is not like offset or tires size, you can't play around with sizes. Center bore has to be factored in as well.
