#BanEverything

Retards. England has become a shithole country anyways. They're banning the fuck out of everything. And let's not even talk about tv licenses.

Let them fall to the ground, that way maybe they will know better than to elect socialists

La Hollande (Amsterdam) n'avait-elle pas banni les véhicules, et continue à le faire, avec ses surtaxes? OP, quelle est ton opinion de la Hollande?

Banning vehicles in the city center for pollution/congestion reasons is COMPLETELY different than banning cars because you don't have control over a bunch of snackbars running over innocent people.

I'm not a fan of the first but I can understand and respect the ban but the latter reason, it's just idiotic. Like I said, inb4 they move on to the next tool to cause havoc.

It's not batshit crazy, most countries have a security area surrounding their parliament, you can't just drive up to the capitol in washington.
You could literally throw a rock from a passing car and hit Westminster (or at least big ben).

I don't think people understand just how close Westminster Palace is to the street.. it's literally a sidewalk width. It's also right next to the river..

The cars entering London has actually increased because the underground network is operating way over capacity. Lots of people are fed up of being packed in or dealing with service interruptions.

Also cycling in London = Suicidal

Well TV licenses have been around for 50+ years. You also get access to BBC iPlayer with it. They don't enforce the license fee as hard as let's say 30 years ago when you had inspectors looking in Windows or through mailbox slots... In Ireland they still do lol

Whether they close down one street or the whole of downtown the reason they are doing it remains the same. They have a muslim extremist problem and instead of acknowledging the real problem their solution is to ban stuff.

The guy crashed into a security barrier so protections already exist. Also like Patriote mentions, it's a matter of just doing it down the road if they extend the zone. The politicians are protecting themselves and not giving a shit about the plebs who will continue to get run over where the safety perimeter ends. But they did something, right?

There is an muslim extremist/terrorist problem, but even if you throw every resource at it would you really be able to foil every single attack?

If a terrorist wanted to cause the maximum amount of casualties there are a 100 other places in London where ramming a car would be more effective. Any random high street is a better target. It's as much about the number of victims as getting media coverage. Driving down a busy high street in Hackney probably won't get you international coverage, do the same thing on westminster bridge right outside parliament and you get coverage.

Do you feel the same way about the tunnels under capitol hill? American congressmen/women can walk to their offices to the capitol without having to face the dangers us regular plebs that walk the streets normally do?

It just might make sense. Restricting traffic to one area sounds fairly reasonable all things considered.

I agree that you cannot stop every single attack but their way of responding to these attacks is retarded. They banned guns, then they banned knives, now it'll be cars... what's next?

I'm not saying the people in office who might be targeted more than just a random nobody because of their position shouldn't have adequate protection but these attacks are not directed at them nor at the parliament building. They are usually random people walking down the street. And let's face it, pretty much anywhere in London would get international attention, doesn't need to be right on parliament.

Ce serait quoi la solution ?

Simply to stop this #Diversityisourstrength bullshit. Unification under common set of goals and beliefs is the real source of strength. Then and only then is it a bonus that the people are diverse.

Western civilization works well under Judeo-Christian beliefs and secular government/laws. Letting in people that are not ready to embrace these view and who beliefs are staunchly opposed to that is why we're in this situation. We wouldn't need to have to cordon off areas of the city to prevent attacks in the first place.

Also, anybody who dares point this out gets banned from most social (justice warrior) platforms and in England sent to jail for "hate speech".

solution: ban religion, worldwide

no one can handle ideological differences. they never could and they never will.

serious note; religion is fading progressively anyway. one day, people will find other excuses to kill people.
if you ban driving in places, i simply won't visit them.
