Who in Montreal offers the best exchange rate ?

I have $45k USD in cash to change into CAD. I doubt I can deposit it directly in my bank account so I was wondering what were the best spots to change that money. I guess the airport is out of the question.
 
Depending on what you want to do with it they will ask questions for any large amount (like over 3k from memory) if it's cash.

Broody's advise is good: Open a US$ account with any local bank if you can. Otherwise the exchange rates change so it's hard to tell. If you need it changed to CDN then deposited they will take a %.

need to show ID at 2,500CAD I think. the law should be in full sight at the exchange office.

je ne sais pas si ca se fait a l'envers mais je ne verrais pas pourquoi pas....

Globex2000. En bas de 500k une banque te fera pas un taux privilège et encore la. Tauras pas mieux que globex a 1%.

Il y a 2 problèmes dans l'affaire :
- justifier la provenance de l'argent : si tu peux le justifier, aller simplement dans un bureau de changer de Montréal la ou c'est le plus interessant.
- cash et pas de compte dans cette devise : ouvrir un compte en USD, puis faire le change par Transferwise ou directement sur le forex, puis fermer le compte USD ensuite

Will Globex do the exchange of 45k cash USD into CAD without asking him ID/where the money came from ?

I mean I understand if its one of their long time clients that has an account with them and all... but a walk in ?
 
Everything is legit, it's just that I want to avoid the CRA freezing my canadian accounts like they did once and I had to waste time and money to go to court to get it back.
