Thanks

PS: And yes, it's for first dates, so not too expensive either LOL

1st date IMHO should always be at a strip club. Sets the bar for the rest of the relationship...

J/K try Balneo in Ile Perrot. Portuguese food, quite good and quiet. Last time I was there I think they had a bar, not sure though.

dix-30, ya ben des petites places potables pour un first date.
Tomate blanche, souper pas trop cher avec terrace (ok, trop frette maintenant)
et quelques places de drinks sociables à la marche.

Lachine you have
1. Hotel de Ville
2. Aux Trois Devin
3. Bacaro Pizza
4. Toarmina Lougne

HDV is the better one and is pretty quite most most nights until around 8pm. The beef tatare is pretty good . Aux Trois isnt special but the beer selection is pretty good and there might be a few BS locals there but generally they'll just sit at the bar and talk. No food though

Bacaro has a pretty nice bar to sit at and you can order apitizers or a meal. Toarmina is okay but sometimes can get a bit loud/busy. I'd go for HdV

There are some other random bars but I never really see anyone in them but the payphones outside always have people using them. Draw your own conclusions

West Island... Well Old Orchard doesn't have a full booze license so you just can't drink. Also it can be pretty busy most nights. Pricey for what you get as well.. the same goes for Cumminghams in St Anne's. Comme Chez Soi has meh food but solid Fry's/beer. Dorval has Le Vieux , old man bar but they still have Quart bottles of beer for cheap so it's approved. If you want coffee swing by Cafe 77 or Cafe Marmalade. A little hidden gem in the West Island for beer only is La Brosse

Don't really know anything in South Shore but I do know losts of good places in St Henri , Burgundy, plateau etc.

Personally going out at night for drinks isn't spontaneous. You should totally a breakfast on a weekend or a boozy brunch. I know of an awesome little bistro in St Henri with great breakfast and live jazz. We go there often for a few hours

PS. I sorta like the old men bars or Chez Gerald because they'll be quite, have one tv (because Seragakis hasn't bought them) and the regulars are generally quite. You also aren't paying "trendy tax" on drinks. I sometimes go to my local legion or the one in St Anne's. The people are awesome
