Where are all the nice build threads?

Nikkonos thread about the Bel-Air made me wonder. What are the websites/forums/pages you guys go for all the build threads/blogs/etc. I'm interested in learning, discovering the ''resto-mod'' part. I watched couple roadkills videos, ''cheap build'' with 5000$ baer front brake setups made me wonder if there was any site dedicated to these type of builds.

Pic is for fun

Coming soon.... Finalizing my garage and then we start.

My fox with a full body job, 5 lug conversion, and something spicy under the hood.

1946 fargo on a 95 cummins ram

1970 torino getting a 429 swap

1980s c10 swb with a 5.3 swap.

i watch too much of Roadkill, Vegas Rat Rod (Welderup) and so many other at motortrend on demand.
I don't go much on forum anymore.
So I don't know if there a ''forums'' for that type of cars.

Fox-bodies have a couple good ones.

four-eyed pride for real hardcore restos/resto mods

the corral for a bit of everything.

for the most part though most real good build threads find their way on more focused websites. You will w find amazing build for ford truck on a ford truck site ,etc etc

Why "cheap build"?

Parce qu'un garage ca coute beaucoup de $$$

et de toute façon, tout les "cheaps Builds" finissent par couter 10x plus que le budget permis

That and all the cheap builds aren't really that cheap. Besides why build something when you can buy that already sorted out build for 50% less.

Je voulais faire un build thread, mais après avoir posté seulement une photo de mon char un membre a repost une autre photo et mon adresse. So that was the end of that!

Pis ça, ya personne qui va aller te faire chier. Pis dis le a un Admin c'est tout.

Agreed. Picking up a well-sorted built car is so much cheaper than to start from scratch. But you always end up doing something to it anyways right...

Emphasize well built. How many modded cars have you worked on where you wonder who in the fuck touched it and that they should have their hands cut off to avoid future incidents like that. Wiring harness installed without grommets at the firewall, positive wires left where they rub the chassis and eventually catch fire.....yeah, soemtimes I like doing my own stuff because I know I wont fuck it up.

Built not bought. I really love the fact that I can say : "I done 90% of the work myself , I race the car, it's reliable and it feel amazing.

Think twice , act once.

I have plans for my Saabaru if it proves reliable through the winter. Right now it's dropped which I fucking detest, sure it corners like nothing I've ever had but the ride is rubbish so I want to go from this:

To something like this:

Maybe not quite as aggressive, no need for buggy tyres, just bring it to 16" rims - 17s for sale after the winter maybe?

Raised at least back to stock - maybe further, I'm told a forester suspension fits - it's all Impreza under the body.

Many lift kits available for it.

Its been taking me almost ten years to get where I can build my car the way I want. This year I repair the body scars and paint it. Five lug 4 wheel disk conversion, torque box reinforcement, lower control arms and finishing with dropping in a mostly stock 351w for the summer
Then next year + compression, big cam, aluminum heads.
All done in my garage by myself or my buddies.

9 years and still counting on my side. Time pass so fast lol. I still remember the first mod I've done on a car ; Complete Sound system! hehehehhee I was sooooo proud. And I sounded amazing.
