    Obsolete Cables Worth Anything?

I have a ton of brand new computer/printer cables that have been obsolete for quite some time. DB25 to Centronics 36 pin parallel cables, IEEE-1284 cables, etc.

I've had them kicking around for a long time and was considering scrapping them but when I was trying to Google what materials the conductors were made of I came across a link talking about how hard these cables are to find these days. Checked Amazon and saw an IEEE-1284 cable for $99...

Does anyone know if there's actually any demand for these and if it's worth trying to get a few bucks for them on Kijiji?

    Thanks

I yelled "cow!" to a lady on a bicycle. She gave me the finger while she kept pedaling and plowed into a cow.

    I tried...

They have zero copper in them, which is why I was searching for the conductor material. Pretty sure it's just aluminum. I've been stripping some old S-Video cables for copper in my spare time. I have hundreds :/

LG, can you post a pic of what you're after? I had a ton of ps2, rs232 adaptors and cables of all sorts. I think I may have thrown out a box last year though. Hopefully not cuz I probably had what you're looking for.

Thanks, but I'm going to Canada Computers to pick up an order for work later, I'll stop by DDO Electronique, they'll probably have a PS/2 connector I can crimp onto an RS232.
