It's pretty Chryslerish IMO. But let's not lie about it. People aren't buying them for the fit and finish. Nice piece of tech

$75k car with huge roof panel gaps and horrible paint:/

clement la tienne est comment?

definitely pretty crappy, but that's not the reason why I wouldn't buy one. The tech is very undesirable to me.

I'm looking forward to a company that can offer me a very basic and mechanical electric car that is light and fun to drive, and if that car had the kind of crappy defects this Model3 has, I'd still buy it.

Lol 3200$ for meh paint. Tesla is learning from Porsche and The Germans... Want fancy paint ? That will be an option.

Quality materials and fit/finish will always be hard for a small company to get right. Hyundai prob has a department that costs 2 billion per year to run with just people who take care of this thing. The big guys also has a vast pool of data, resources and can just toss more money at it. I don't think people understand just how small of a company Tesla is in auto manufacturing. Lots of the switch gear, various pieces etc are right off the shelf parts from other manufactures.. it's very obvious

Rivian will have the same issues

to be fair, even Mercedes owners have this done. Having the vehicle properly polished and protected with clear film and a ceramic coating is good/important regardless of how good or bad the finish it from factory. The big issue with Tesla is dirt in the clear and wicked uneven panel gaps.

Scratches will always happen.
