mais comme y disent, quelles compagnies de paiement va te permettre de faire des transactions par carte de crédit sans frais?
Je suis pas un expert, je fais juste m'informer.
I'll explain in english since it's just easier for me.
The scenario now is :
Shopify charges 2.9% +.30c (If his average transaction is lets say 50$) his real percentage is 3.5%
If you go elsewhere for processing they (Shopify) charge 2% + around 2.3% elsewhere (Moneris/Global/First Data) = 4.3%
I'm saying to choose someone that allows you to plug to let's say (Authorized.net/Bambora) as gateways for free.
Auth.net can be configured to take payments with regular processors like TD Merchant services/Global/Elavon ... which will give you the 2.3% average rate + 15c/transaction for auth.net
All of this of course is based on 2 things:
Average transaction size (lower it goes the more that 30c/transaction hurts more) AND total monthly or yearly volume.
I know it's a startup but I'm in the payment space and have so many people come to me asking to get saved because they're stuck with someone like shopify who they love the product and service and don't want to disconnect/do an in house website.... but are paying stupid fees for 30-40-50k a month of volume....
So before even getting there, think ahead.
A good business plan is about thinking in the short term but long term as well
Just my 2 cents of course, if he thinks the volume won't ever get higher than a certain point and wants to price his product accordingly, all good
