Videotron upgrade a 400 mbps gratuit

Ebox I'm up and running with 400/50 and the new modem, bought it out of pocket for 200 with tax... They say they don't blacklist the old modem so I can sell it, I might get 50 bucks if I'm lucky...

From what I know modems are only blacklisted when they are rented and the person doesnt return it. Once paid for it’s unbanned.

You can't use them on a different provider though. You won't be able to reuse an eBox modem on Videotron even though they use the exact same tech.

You can, it's just a question of compatibility and the supplier approving the firmware version you are using. I don't know what their ratio is of approved/not approved, but I just know we had one case where a customer had an ebox connection and his modem was fried....we don't use ebox so all we had was videotron modems so we gave it a shot and luckily it worked...

Same thing happened when one was using a crappy cronomagic connection....they want you to use their modem but their service was shit...they resell videotron so we switched it out and it worked also.

It's all theoretical though, and in the good hands of the tech that "wants" or "doesn't want" it to work. It's always going to be a case of your mileage may vary.

Let me put it this way: I'd rather rent a modem than buy a used one.

Oui j'ai vu ca hier soir durant la game a RDS. Bien reussi sauf le monde qui s'appelent Steeve...
 
Pour ceux qui demande "ça donne quoi une connexion super rapide?"

Et bien downloader la beta d'un jeux de 44.5GB en 8-9 minutes au lieu de 5 heure. :p

Mon rabais de deux ans sur le forfait 120 est terminé et je me retrouve à payer 85$ par mois. Les seuls forfaits Videotron offrant les téléchargements illimités sont les forfaits Helix. Est-ce que ça vaut la peine même si je ne veux que le service internet?

P.S. Je ne peux pas changer de compagnie, venez pas me parler de ce qu'il y a chez les autres concurrents.
 
j'ai switché avec Helix car il y avait une légère économie de mon côté. Le hic est que ça génère une facture additionnelle. Si tu as le cell avec Videotron, tu vas devoir gérer 2 factures même si c'est avec un seul fournisseur. Pour le reste, pas des grosses features pour moi, activer désactiver le wifi pour un appareil spécifique sur une plage horaire. Aussi, plus besoin de router car c'est intégré et le signal est assez fort pour toute la maison.

Appele les et dit les que si ils continue pas le rabais tu change pour Bell.
 
Meme pas besoin de menacer de changer de compagnie. Y sont tellement habitué a entendre cette bullshit. Simplement les appeler et leur demander de conserver le meme prix et y vont surement l’accepter.
