I went to 4 weddings last year
500$ each
every single one of those people that got married called me and my wife to thank us as if it was something stupid we gave... finally i went to supper with 2 of those 4 couples in the last 6 months and asked them straight up "Guys.... when you called, it was as if we gave something ridiculous but to me it was standard.... did you not get at least 100$ a head from people ?"
The answers were:
-Guy drives S Class, gave us check that bounced
-People gave 20$ a head cash
-50$ a head
-0$
the list goes on...
all of them agreed on one thing
SMALL WEDDING 50-100 people = the way to go....
and I agree... when you do huge weddings you'll no doubt always end up in the red... smaller wedding with select guests, your family will naturally give more as gifts and that will cover the cheap people ... but if you go 200-250people... lol good luck breaking even
