I didn't want to go too far off topic in the photo thread discussing with Broody but it's freaking ridiculous what West Island homes are going for these days. I know this is just one example and you could probably find better cases (for either side) but it's more or less par for the course.

Do that many people really value not driving an extra 60km/40 minutes a day to settle for a house that's a fraction of the size and multiple decades older?
