Why wouldn't you order from Rock Auto then ?
He probably gets his parts the same/next day from his local supplier and great service. It's the customer's money anyways.

Believe it or not we actually try to come up with the best cost effective solutions for clients. Not just call Napa and quote full list price of 200$ on a 30$ set of pads.He probably gets his parts the same/next day from his local supplier and great service. It's the customer's money anyways.

Local suppliers do have great service that prevents running around for warranty claims *cough* mevotech suspension parts*cough*
That's pretty much itI meant it more as it not being worth the hassle to you to "chance it" so the customer saves an extra $20 on a part.
Except shops don't work off Rock Auto pricing as they sell way way way under our cost
Ton mécanicien t'a crossé.

OP sounds like someone that keeps cars for a long time unless there’s a reason to change it.
IMO you should buy yourself a good condition Lexus es350 and forget about maintenance or changing cars.
Yeah, that's exactly what I do lol. I did consider that model, but I'm not too sure about its driving dynamics.
I should of stopped putting money in to my car a long time ago. Front end has been nothing but problems for 2 years, fix this, fix that, alignment here, alignment there, at the end of it all, it's not about the money, it's the time spent with my 16 year old son who in this day and age can be out there fucking around, smoking weed, drinking etc. My car makes him smile every time i drive it. He helps me on weekends to fix it, or just bring it in the garage to swap out parts. I have thought long and hard about where the car should be, sold! I just can't do it, it's our bonding point.
