Need to pick up a pallet in Champlain

Hello, what's the cheapest way to bring in a pallet (5'x6' 1100lbs) from Freeport?

Uhaul would cost roughly $160 plus gas for a 10" cube.

If I rent a truck and a trailer $140 plus gas.

What other options are out there?

Thx

Rent a pickup truck (some companies even places like reno Depot) why a trailer?

Likely cheaper

Edit 5'x6' that's a weird pallet

What's on the pallet? Can you just rent a pick-up and load the contents of the pallet into the bed?

Cheapest way? Buy some casters and tow it home with your bicycle. Hope you didn't skip leg day.

I honestly don't have a solution for you, but good luck crossing the border with a rental truck.

I've done it in a rental car no problem.
I was hired to drive to Burlington and pick up a flight crew. Customs never looked twice.

Why? You can cross, the agreement will say "can be used in USA" or "use allowed in USA" or something similar to that on the contract

I have crossed with u-haul and many rental cars too.

I have crossed at the big commercial border too, the one where the agent is like 10ft up in the air for the big rigs

They don't care about rental.

They have a fork lift , 20-40$ fee for each use, each package...
