Hi guys,
Supposably the upcoming PS5 (holiday 2020) is capable of 4K at 120fps. On today standard only a few TV have the connection for HDMI 2.1. Those tv cost $$$$. PS5 and scarlett (new xbox) cant output 4k at 120fps or 8k at 60fps. That my friend is a lot of data.
Here is my question, on today top of the line GPU to be able to hit 4K at 120fps you need 2x RTX 2080 ti, each of those card cost 1500$+++ So on today technology it cost 3000$+++ just to be able to reach PS5 power.....WTF???
PLease explain to me, how PS5 and scarlet are going to be affordable to the customer and be able to output 4k at 120fps??? I know the technologie at holiday 2020 will be ahead, but i mean, they must start the production at the beginning of next year, how sony will be able to get that power affordable???
Or maybe this is all a fluke??
On today console technology, the most powerful is Xbox one, it can run Red dead redemption at 4k at an average of 30-40fps. Scarlet is suppose to be 4x time faster.... so i guess its possible.
On my part im pretty sure im going to purchase a PS5, but i need to upgrade my old 1080p plasma Panasonic, what should i do get a 4k 60hz tv.... or a much more expensive 4k 120hz tv with hdmi 2.1??
What are your tought???
