It's insane how many of those cars they made and how many are still around even locally...
Update -
Test drove one.
I forgot about how small the form factor of that car is. It's so tiny. I absolutely love it! That'll make an easy parking car.
It feels, decent on the road. Precisely what I was looking for. Something that makes you feel like you're going fast, but you're not. It's well balanced, and I was in need of a good ol' rack and pinion experience. The '' dip '' is not a gruesome like some of you mentionned, but once again, this was regular driving, not really spirited.
It's so fucking japanese. It seems like someone was trying to make a Honda but it has Subaru soy sauce spilled everywhere served on a Toyota plate. The clutch is fairly light, a bit too high, but it's alright. It's not tiresome like a Z can be, which is on the plus heavy side and fucking aggravating in traffic. Gears looked pretty straight and fun to row. Visibility is surprising in a car of that era. It's so good!
I'm 5"11, 165LBS, and it fits my size perfectly. TBH the 2+2 and the trunk is way more than enough for grocery getting and weekend getaways, chalet trips and camping. I can easily fit a propane tank, plant baskets, boxes, random house shit in that thing. Im pretty sure you can drop an LCD tv box in the back aswell with seats folded. They also make roof racks so I'll opt for that.
It's fairly low as some of you remarked, but the one I test drove had winter studs still on it... so... my guess... it'll winter easily around town and highways. I'm used to lowered cars in the winter so I don't think its an issue.
Paint quality looks on the cheap side. Wheels are so fucking hideous.
Engine disposition is perfect for weekend wrenching.
And the one I saw is an absolute batteuse that I'm definitely not purchasing.
It also... summons my inner-douchebag. Which I like.
Will start shopping soon.
Thanks guys for the infos, hope this help some of you.
