So there it is, after selling the del sol, because there is no way you can bring a family of 5 in there, plus the dog, i ended up not having projects, fun stun for 2 years. Changed the starter on this one last year for a friend, he called me last week and asked if I would be interested, safetied for MB already so a big plus, mean its not that bad rustwise , they are pretty strict. Not perfect but kids and wife seems to enjoy the ride.
1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass sedan ( everybody will be disapointed, its not a coupe, i know )
350 rocket 2bbl /TH350
85500 miles
has some rust/dings/scratches, been repainted but its now chipping.
Its brown, with a brown/cream interior..
So the air freshner was found in the glove box, while cleaning the car, we call him fabio.
Here are the plans for the car:
-Change the wheels and tires (already have 14x7 4-4-2 wheels , they are getting sandblaster and repainted, probably wrap them up with BF Radial T-A , i am unsure of the front size ill take, one is a big too big and one is a bit small.. see question below)
-Full fluids /filter change
--new shocks/springs
-new exhaust
-Shift kit.
Later ill see about fixing the rust/body/etc
So for the tires, maybe somebody with more knowledge can help! I hesitate between 2 sizes for the front . Right now the car has 205/70/14 all around , I want the Radials T-A in 245/60/14 (789rev per mile) in the back , but the front would either be 205/70/14(798rev per mile) or 215/70/14(781 rev per mile), so i'm kinda unsure of what i prefer, its more for look then performance , as its not a racecar but more of a cruiser.
thanks !
