It was my second time there. We stayed in Dublin and did a couple day trips from the city. Ireland is great but don't expect a "cheap" vacation. However you can save a couple euros here and there

My wife lived in Dublin while doing her master's so knowns the city/country well.
 
Final summary for 8 days

3 in Paris and 4 in Dublin

Hotels: 1200$
Spending Money: 1400$, this. Includes food, transport in cities etc
 
not factoring in plane tickets? If not, adding plane tickets, you are close to 5k for a week vacations, that's not horrible, but that's not cheap as well.

Well airfare is a bit complex with me. Basically we choose destinations based on availability

My Girl have a friend who is boyfriend is a boss for clientt service at transat. They can fly anywhere in north america for 50$ and europe for 100$... Thats crazy stupid cheap

Thats a big plus.

You can fly for cheap (or nothing ?? ) when there is place.
Sometime my girl want to go work for Air can or transat just for this lol
Just need to work your way up far enough i guess

It's pretty frowned upon if that's the only reason. You only get flight benefits after 6-12 months. There are people who do it though, work 2-3 years and leave after they have been everywhere.

You can also fly on other airlines with ZedFares. I won't get into specifics with employee travel. There is enough info out there. Craziest thing we have done is fly to Geneva on a Friday night, Get lunch and dinner there on Saturday. Fly back Sunday afternoon.

28th floor is nice, but we are going to visit some other places too.
The jet lag feels weird,im tired at 8:30pm and i wake up at 6h no problem

Oh yeah, took a few days before I got used to it. I would fight so hard to stay awake at 8pm and couldn't sleep later than 5am
 
Je pars pour Chicago, vol vers Toronto retardé de minimum une heure, on va manquer le deuxième vol, ça part bien...

Edit: on a eu 5 heures pour visiter Toronto, au début j'étais pas content mais quand j'ai réalisé que l'aéroport Billy Bishop est collé au centre ville j'en ai profité pour faire un tour de la ville, ça faisait presque 15 ans la dernière fois donc fun quand même.

Pis la pizza Chicago style deep dish c'est bon pour vrai, pas juste une curiosité locale.
