Going on my first vacation ever, besides jail....

Going to Mexico. Never been on a plane, still not sure how I'm going to take to it.

It's going to be a 5 star hotel on the resort of barchelo maya colonial.

UK is always No.1 for me. AMA... If not continental Europe. More Asia trips are planed. We did breakfast in Geneva one weekend , fly out Friday night come back Sunday ! I love Switzerland and Austria.

We are off to France on Thursday for 8 days. Reims, Paris, Lyons and possibly back through CPH. No real plans besides Champagne and Paris. See where the wind takes us

I really wanted to do a road trip through the states, they won't let me in. I'll get more info on exactly where.

My favorite countries are the Scandinavian ones, Denmark is by far my favorite, such a little hidden gem, I've had the time of my life there. I went 5 times in 2 years. The north Jutland mainland is fucking amazing. Only country I would move to work there in a heartbeat.

I am going to Munich, Vienne, Salzbourg, Budapest and Prague in October. Hook me up with stuff to do and see for those who know the area. I like the non touristy stuff.

What district are you in?

I assume parking is typical Europe crapness in the city? I'm still on the fence about renting this trip or just taking the train. Who am I kidding I will rent a car ,
I always stay central, both times very close to Place de la République as you can walk everywhere.

Parking is like 30-35 Euros a day (really nice underground parking there, I'll take pictures I've never seems such a nice indoor parking) but very central. Weekends are free on street.

I use the scooters to get around (usually walk out and scoot back)

I did Vienna, Budapest and Prague in your list.

Vienna I was disappointed, the blocks are very huge so walking is much longer than you want, going anywhere. I am not a museum or opera type of guy so yeah...

Budapest I absolutely loved it. You can train from there to Bratislava which was also very nice.

Prague depends on when, I've been 3 times and when it's tourist season it's not fun IMO, but off season it is very pretty.

Is your itinerary set?

Not set, that's why I'm going end of mid October. I'm not going anywhere in high season anymore I get annoyed by people.

Only thing set is that I arrive in Munich and leave 19 days later from Vienne.

Munich you need 2-3 days. It's not a huge city but great to walk around. Lots of good day trips you can take as well. You can do Linderhof Palace and Neuschwanstien Castle in the same day. There is a pretty good resto in Fussën at the bottom of the
Neuschwanstien called Schloss Brauhaus. Pretty good. A bit touristy but does the job.

Munich itself well BMW Musuem, Welt, Olympic Park, Nymphenberg Palace etc. Public transit goes everywhere! We stayed in Eching Am Ammersee last time about 45 mins away. There is a great microbrewry in Andechs not far from there. We used the train to get around.

As touristy as Hof Brauhaus is.. again it's a good experience Ayinger across the street is better though. I've spent a considerable amount of time in Bavaria and that area of Germany. Feel free to ask
