Why is Scheer hanging with Amy Schumer? Why is Scheer wearing a durag?

I voted last Monday at 8:50pm because I hate crowds

it's going to be liberal coalition government almost guaranteed. the conservatives are not getting a majority government so in the best of cases they have a minority lead in the parliament. but NDP said they won't side with the tories so Scheer won't be able to form a government. Trudeau's will form a coalition with the NDP, give them a few ministerial seats, and they'll agree to govern.

technically Trudeau has to quit his position, so if he wants to be a dick, even if he doesn't win the most seats in the parliament he never quits and goes ahead to form a government. the parliament coalition liberal +ndp approves it and the torries are stuck sucking their thumbs watching another term pass them by where they can bitch and moan but laws get passed anyway.

If the liberals lose seats the Honorable things for Trudeau to do is step aside. Like you said he likely won't and will form a liberal/NDP coalition gov. All this will do is futher divide the country into an abyss

Wtf are these made-up fantasy of standards that don't exist or don't apply to this situation? Did Christie Clark step aside when she lost seats in the BC provincial election just 2 years ago? No, she didn't have a majority decided to test the confidence of the house of commons and got voted down during the thrown speech and that's how you have a NDP/Green coalition in BC.

Theresa May lost a huge amount of seats, lost her majority and didn't step down either and was forced to form a coalition with the DUP.

If the conservatives get a majority he absolutely should and I would expect him to step down, but short of that he's going to and everyone would expect him to attempt to form a minority government.

Trudeau is pretty safe. He can step down like a gentleman knowing that Scheer will fail because there are no coalition partners available. Then he will swoop in on a white horse to save the day with a NDP coalition of his own. win-win.
