So bought a Certified Pre-Owned 2015 Mini Cooper Countryman from Mini Mont-royal on Jean-Talon. Got extended platinum warranty for 5 years. Anyhow check-engine light shows up 3 days into my purchase and a radio button just pops off as well. Simple fix but since I'm under "warranty" I've mentioned this to them when I went to service the check-engine light.
They come back to me that to fix a radio button, one tiny radio button (basically a clip-on) will cost... 2,100$!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Because they claim they'll need to replace the whole freakin radio! But what about the "certified" vehicle or the "extended platinum" warranty?!?!?!
To make things worse, I can't install my own plug&play radio since it'll void this "extended warranty" which seems useless to begin with...
Used to be a fan of mini's but after this car I think I'll stay FAR AWAY!
