comme les maudite camera de recule, c'etais garantie 3 ans avant...

evidament ca lache toujours au bout de 4 ans et 75 000km lol

donc yon changer et asteur c'est garantie 5 ans 100 000 comme le reste du char
 
Je connais quelqu’un qui a acheter une garantie prolonger sur un use et ils lui on dit qu'il ne pouvais pas réclamer avant 30 Jours
Apres 30 jour il a voulue faire une réclamation. Comme par hasard ce qui étais briser étais pas garantie
il a voulue être rembourser pour la garantie prolonger qui sert a rien
ils lui on dit qui devais annuler avants les premier 30 jour

Tu ne peux pas installer un radio used d'une autre MINI car c'est VIN specific. C'est garanti à 100% que ça ne fonctionnera pas.
Tu peux installer un radio aftermarket mais tu vas perdre certaines fonctionnalités de la voiture. Si tu le fais quand même, tu perds ta garantie.

You sure can install a used radio. It just needs to be coded with the original info off the old radio or CCC.

My rule with Mini, lease a new one and give it back after. The quality on R chassis models is terrible

Doubtful. With aftermarket hack radio yes but not a used OEM part. Only problem might be finding the exact part number

His vin is likely logged in the system now as Mont Royal and Laval are under the same umbrellas only other mini retailer locally is park Avenue

This info comes from the shop manager at canbec which is a master tech for more than 10 years. Have fun arguing with him if you care.

Considering all you do is argue... The OP should hire you as his representative.

The dealer should man up and replace it. The OP just bought the car.
 
Also OP those radios BMW sells are all remanufactured and are about 750$ in the USA. The Boost radios had a ton of problems it's well documented.

I also know of a place in the UK that can fix them for around £250 shipped
 
I actually contacted the manager at mini Laval and he claimed they're not connected to the other mini dealerships. They're all independent dealers of mini.
 
2 100$ pour changer un RADIO DE CHAR? Tabarnak. Faut-tu qui démontent le moteur pis la transmission au complet pour el' changer l'esti de radio coudonc?

You can't. It's vin specific for anti theft purpose. Maybe some Joe schmo can do it but not bmw. Stop trying to look intelligent, it doesn't suit you well.

He pollutes every thread. Next he will say BMW FRMs can't be reprogrammed. Just because a dealer doesn't do it or want to do it... CAS modules are the tricky ones and those come pre coded from Germany.
