Why we should pay for climate change?
Hey i throw money away and climate wont change.
I'm all in to pay a tax that will result in better recycling or whatever good for the environement, but we just pay and we do nothing with it.
Like the ''fond vert'' that helped to pay for an electrical fence in Gabon for gorilla...
If we pay here to make a differance, can we use our money in canada please?
x2
They added the "eco-tax" on batteries, electronics, TVs and monitors and so on a few years ago and they used the funds to create "eco-centres" where we can bring these items to be (hopefully) recycled.
Show me where the carbon tax money goes and if it's justified, I'll be happy to pay it. However it's been proven that countries have been exchanging "carbon credits" so what's the point?
From what I understand it works like this:
Canada has 3 carbon credits.
They sell 2 to China for whatever, money...
China can now pollute to make up those 2 carbon credits.
WTF is the carbon tax for then?
