Anybody know where I can get some 21X22X2 filters...?? Preferable good quality ones....I've looked everywhere, even called a place that "specializes" in them and according to them they don't exist! Loool

Will I have to custom order them??

^^ well my system is brand new (new construction) but MERV13 seems like overkill, I was thinking MERV11 max...

Has anyone actually used those brands..? I'm wondering if theres a difference between actually brand name filters vs no name ones!

And would it change anything if I use a 1" thick filter vs 2"....

Your system being new doesn't mean it was properly designed.

If your filter rack accomodates 2", good. If you can fit a larger one, go for it! Dont' go down to 1".
 
always go as big as you can.

I have 1" right now, but at my old house I had 4" and IMO it was way better... (been lazy as I am..they last way longer too)
