ca coute rien a rouler des vieux char.

Goddamn this is ugly, racing stripes do no belong on trucks.

I don't get the appeal of driving such old ass stuff around.

Maybe not a daily, but those AMC s were solid tanks built to outlive the nuclear apocalypse. My buddy's dad has a 66 Pontiac Stratochief he drives around in the summer. It's heavy, slow, but comfy. It oozes along the highway with its powerglide and 283. Simplicity is underrated.

A 440 powered Jensen! Thing is not that big for such a big block! Sitting at a friend's shop.

Seriously I've been looking at carshows forever in and around Quebec and they are never there. Original build quality wasn't one of their strong points. This one is pretty clean except for the racing stripes.

Well they never sold many in North America...they didn't even build that many cars in about 8-10 years. I think the total run was about 6500 cars vs let's say a MK1 E type which was around 19k cars over 7-8 years with most sold in NA

British Car industry is fascinating. So many different companies doing different things. A favourite of mine is MG putting in a V8 in the MG GT.. the aluminum V8 was lighter than the all Iron 4cylinder..

People moan about build quality but was 60s 70s or 80s North American stuff any better? Not a chance.
