We all know the vaccine doesn't prevent anyone from getting Covid Delta edition. It will subdue the symptoms and rarify hospitalizations but it does not stop the spread.
We should really count hospitalizations and not cases if we want our freedoms back, will that happen? Don't think so.
Since it's a man made virus by Chinese researchers in lab that got out - accidentally or not who cares that is irrelevant at this time - it will not be easily defeated. The military was likely looking for a way to make an existing deadlier disease than Covid more contagious by using a relatively "benign" Coronavirus as a test bed.
All that matters is that some of our most basic freedoms are compromised. Our shops and livelihood get shut down by the government like Gestapo shut down the Jews in 1940s although our governments won't seize our shops, they'll let that up to the banks when eventually everyone runs out of money. But that's fine since they regulate the banks.
The government then decides what is essential or not essential and forces a vaccine that needs renewal on a yearly or semi-yearly basis which in turn makes big bucks for pharmaceutical companies. Which again is fine since they also regulate the pharmaceutical companies.
The governments - worldwide - are now creating a two-tier class citizens:
Vaccinated will be allowed to gather amongst themselves for holidays and ceremonies, attend events and restaurants, malls, etc.
Non vaccinated will not be allowed any of those things and they will be stigmatized by society driven by media propaganda.
And that vaccination will be yearly or semi-yearly. Probably in the summers or late summers into the fall.
I predict fake QRcodes will see the light of day if they haven't already.
Ultimately, we will wind up with the same QR veterinarian tags as our dogs:
To be renewed yearly to keep up the illusion of a freedom that we now know, can be taken away at any time.
What we really need as a society is a nice fat meteor like a comet or a cluster of asteroids would also probably do the trick.
I just feel bad for our kids.
