Sérieux, si j'étais un Arruda ou dequoi du genre, c'est le genre de nouvelle qui m'empêcherais assurément de dormir le soir !! Ça ouvre la porte à toute qu'un shit show ! ! ! Les stratégies de confinement, les vaccins, les couvre-feu. Toutes ces stratégies s'écroulent à la vitesse d'un chateau de carte avec un virus comme ça ! !

Ça ouvre la porte à des scénario loin d'être de la science fiction du genre : ''Le variant B qui résiste au vaccin A et réinfecte tout sur son passage. Un Vaccin B qui arrive en sauveur, mais oops. au même moment le virus mutant C se pointe le nez, et rebelotte plus rien ne protège de rien. Arrive maintenant le virus C² et D en même temps, et aucun vaccin pour les 2. Des transmissibilités et des gravité d'infection qui peuvent aller de rien presque rien à plus dangeureux que présentement.''

Un genre de scénario qui donnerait des semi-croquante infini dans les salles de presse du Québec !
 
The worry at first of single dose and a virus building immunity to it was discussed and ruled out severely. Stop reading what the media is reporting and trust science not the bits and pieces of fear porn. UK is perfect example is a variant that changed but can still be controlled. Mass vaccination is needed.

Remember the non sense they were reporting about people falling dead in the streets last year? Never happened either.

Yup. They found one drunk native after a night of drinking and said it was covid. Dude was just having a good time can't blame him!
 
Or better yet the west shits on Russia but they have a working vaccine and life is somewhat normal there(as normal as Russia can be). You can go swimming, go to a gym, a resto , see friends. Depressing watching friends there having fun. The big difference is Russia view on death(you die , how sad) and life expectancy is rather low. So there isn't a massive abundance of very very old people

En effet,

une double dose et une double protection aurait été la meilleure chose à faire au départ, car tu ne donnes pas la chance au virus de se propager dans ton corps et se renforcir. De là la stratégie d'immunité par la vaccination.

Si on lui donne la change de se promener où il veut et frapper dans des gens malades qui lui permet de muter et varier, ça risque d'être une très longue bataille

Ontario has started second doses for medical and care staff. Unsure about care home residents. My friend who's a surgeon got her second dose and it's knocked her out petty good. She's recently had Covid and I'm told the side effect of the second does is worse, especially with those with recent infections.

I get Quebec's plan , it's not a horrible one IMO if the 60-90 days is stuck to. Get as many needles in arms as possible. If they were waiting a year for a second shot I'd be worried but an extra 60-90-100 days isn't going to change all that much. The first shot distribution is the most critical. Hopefully by then some of the most vulnerable pass away and you'll have only wasted 1 vaccine vs 2.

J'essais de trouver des stats des décès et hospitalisations des gens en CHSLD depuis début Janvier et je ne trouve rien. Je veux savoir si la dose #1 a servie à quelque chose lol

They are mixing the CHSLD's and Hospital death in the same sequence....
 
These are homemade using available info. It's the 40-60 group with the longest stays. They are sick but also strong enough to fight the virus. It's not just lowering the hospital cases but if we can get down the length of stays.. If there are less admissions to hospital of that category then there should be less death. Even with current case numbers the hospital's shouldn't really fill up.

FYI Ontario actually lists who died in a hospital vs care home. Most people there are dying in hospital. My friends hospital was taken off surge capacity and stopped getting patents from Toronto last week

C'était la semaine dernière ça,

Il va avoir une nouvelle excuse cette semaine.


Quand on avait- de 1000 hospitalisations à l'automne, on ne parlait jamais de délestage et du calvert qui vient avec. C'est drôle, c'est rendu un problème depuis 2 semaines ici
