3.8s are notorious for having scored cylinders on the ones further away fromt he waterpump.. so 4-5-6. Easy way to tell is massive oil consumption and a greasy left rear exhaust.
I suggest getting a lower temp tstat either way

Yea something like that combined with the pistons being too large. Wrong material etc. Creates a hot spot. We were told in training to specifically get lower temp thermostatsbad waterflow design? too hot in that area?
C'est pas le moteur a plat le problème, c'est Subaru.si je regarde la fiabilité de subaru avec leur moteurs à plat, j'ai des doutes sur ceux de porsche.
ca doit etre mieux étant donné que cest plus solide mais je serais craintif un peu.. je ne parle pas en connaissance de cause pour porsche mais subaru j'en sait quelque chose...
