On some forums, Canadians were found to be "highly active," even more, on average, than users in the U.S. and Britain.

The study suggests when the numbers were averaged out using each country's "estimated internet-using population," Canada was shown to be producing more content than anywhere else.

The research, led by the U.K.-based Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) think-tank, identified more than 6,600 online channels — pages, accounts or groups — where Canadians were involved in spreading white supremacist, mysogynistic or other radical views.

I Wonder if MR made the cut? We have some free thinkers here.

Poor justin won't be able to sleep tonight.

I'm against let's say refugees.. am I an extreme right winger? wait but I'm of visible minority.. so I get a pass right?

Well, it depends. What shade of refugees are we talking about? Are they from the Caribbeans or Middle East? Do they believe in the trinity?
I don't think BLM would give you a pass if you're against refugees of a darker complexion. They're in charge of identifying objectionable content so far this year. I think you should defer to their judgement to be on the safe side. Others and their agendas will need to get in line.

I want to know where they draw the separating line between a healthy respect for border-crossing, laws, country and citizenship vs crazy ass KKK type full right wing Nazis complete with lynching squads and "manifestos."

The way I see it their line is all blurred and fuzzy.

I doubt very much that the average Canadian is capable of rounding up immigrants, legal or not, and dragging them behind a horse for show.

The media puts pretty much any non-socialist movement into the extremist right wing category

I must be part of those statistics because I'm in hardcore libertarian groups, anarchist groups and boogaloo / big igloo bois groups

Boogaloo groups are often viewed as right wing extremists but they're just a bunch of shitposters posting memes

Pretty much.

Parti Conservateur du Canada ? Extreme droite.

ADQ ? Extreme droite.

NPD ? "Modéré"
Quebec Solidaire ? "Modéré"

I guess the new money maker today is "looking for the right wing extremists", which could be anyone as today not agreeing with a single idea presented by somebody on the political, or social left instantly earns you a far right, racist, extremist, whatever else label. A year ago the money maker was climate change, everybody and their uncles were writing about climate change 50 times a day, looking for anyone they can screech at for not doing enough to save the planet. 2 months ago it was corona 24/7 like it's the end of the world.

I don't miss watching TV at all for years now, even removed news from my feeds, I couldn't care less about what's the latest thing people fake upset about to virtue signal front of people online who don't give a flying f*ck about them anyway. Watch a couple of people on YT when I see something interesting in the title and that's about it, IDGAF about anything else, just do my thing.

Let me put it this way: If the media used the "extremist" adjective uniformly throughout their (several) agendas, every single stereotypical bearded man from the middle-east would be an extreme Islamist.

Wanna know what's really cool about they way they're going at it?

The statement I made above: While true, would classify me as a right wing extremist at the same level as KKK pitchfork touting, fire torch bearing, ACTUAL right wing extremist groups.

That is the world we now live in. Free thought is just a concept.

Un article de la CBC... Tout est far right pour eux.

C'est la branche médiatique des Libéraux. Alors leur avis ça vaut pas grand chose.
