Beeing my first summer in my home, i noticed the outdoor unit on my wall mounted a/c just drips the water outside along the foundation.
I didnt think much of it the past few months as it was very hot and we did not get much rain, the water would not sit very long before getting absorbed by the dry ground and/or evaporate.
But after the few rain falls weve had i noticed the water from the a/c puddles up along the foundation, which obviously isnt great
I was curious to see if any of you have a similar situation, and what you may habe done or can recommend me do to?(making a flower bed to absorb the water is not an option i am interested in)
I thought about getting a drainage box placing in the ground where the water drips and possibly connecting it to a french drain pipe and sending the pipe a few feet away to the house into the ground?
See attached picture for the unit, and a couple with the drainage box idea.
